Warmth shaped by timber.

Barrel, canopy and indoor sauna spaces shaped around natural wood, enduring heat and the quiet ritual of returning to warmth.

Sauna shaped by natural material Introducing Almost Heaven.

Since 1977, Almost Heaven Saunas has been handcrafting sauna spaces in West Virginia’s Greenbrier Valley, building a nearly five-decade legacy around American woodworking and the traditions of Finnish sauna. What began as a dedication to authentic heat has grown into one of the most established names in American-made home sauna.

In 2019, Almost Heaven joined the Harvia family, bringing its American manufacturing heritage together with generations of Finnish sauna engineering. Today, that relationship places time-tested craftsmanship, carefully selected timber and Harvia heating technology within one continuing sauna tradition.

Chosen with intention Why Between Living Chose Almost Heaven

Timber-Led Architecture

Natural wood remains visually and physically central, allowing the sauna to feel like a room in the landscape rather than equipment placed within it.

Recognizable Barrel Form

Curved barrel construction creates an intimate sauna room with a strong architectural identity and a naturally efficient internal volume.

Traditional Heat Options

Selected barrel and canopy saunas pair the timber enclosure with Harvia electric heating for a familiar stone-and-heat sauna ritual.

From Intimate to Expansive

The collection moves across compact barrels, canopy forms, outlook-focused rooms and indoor infrared, making the ritual adaptable to very different spaces.

Views Become Part of the Ritual

Across selected models, rear glazing and half-moon outlooks allow the landscape to remain present while the interior stays warm, private and grounded.

Infrared Beyond the Barrel

Himalaya expands the collection beyond traditional heating with a full-spectrum indoor infrared cabin designed around low-EMF, surround-style warmth.

Warm timber · Open outlook

The ritual begins inside the wood.

The appeal of the barrel is not one specification or one window. It is the relationship between warmth, timber and what lies beyond the room. Across the collection, each model interprets that relationship differently.
