Product Description

CANADIAN TIMBER TRANQUILITY BARREL SAUNA - ELECTRIC

There are spaces that do more than warm the body — they gather the moment, quiet the mind, and invite you back to yourself. The CT Tranquility Barrel Sauna is designed as an outdoor place of return, where cedar, heat, and stillness come together in a rhythm of reconnection and presence.

This Canadian Timber Tranquility Barrel Sauna with 45cm Porch seats 4–5 people and is handcrafted from Eastern White Cedar, a lighter-toned wood with tight natural knots. Its rounded barrel form supports an efficient sauna environment while creating a beautiful setting for shared ritual, recovery, and everyday reset. The electric-heated Tranquility model offers a larger interior footprint, making it especially well suited for families or for those who want a little more room to settle in and stay awhile.

Build Checklist  (Simple + Essential)

Required to Operate  (don’t skip)

Heater Option

The heater is what brings the sauna to life. It is the essential element that creates the heat, atmosphere, and restorative function of the space. Without a heater, the sauna structure is complete, but it will not operate as a true sauna experience. For this electric model, the heater should be selected as part of the final build planning.

Strongly Recommended for Safety & Longevity

Roof Option

A roof covering helps protect the sauna exterior from the elements and supports the long-term condition of the wood over time.

Black Asphalt Shingle Roof (Includes Trim): a classic, practical option that adds weather protection with a more traditional finish.

Black Metal Roof: a more elevated and durable exterior upgrade with a cleaner architectural feel and strong long-term resilience.

Both options help shelter the barrel from exposure, but the choice comes down to the finish and feel you want for the final installation.

Optional Upgrades

Accessory Package

The accessory package adds the finishing ritual elements that make the sauna experience feel more complete, more welcoming, and more prepared from the start. It is not required for operation, but it can meaningfully shape the comfort and usability of the space.

Lighting Option

Lighting offers a softer, more intentional atmosphere inside the sauna and can enhance the overall mood of the experience. While not required, it is a beautiful upgrade for those who want the space to feel more ambient, grounded, and fully considered.

Clear expectations before checkout

Please review before ordering. Larger Leisurecraft deliveries may require customer-arranged unloading, equipment, or local assistance.

Residential delivery, crates & unloading DO NOT MISS

Most residential deliveries are curbside or end-of-driveway by appointment.

The trucking company typically does not unload the crate, bring it inside, move it to a backyard, or place it in the final location.

Some larger shipments require the customer to arrange assistance or equipment for unloading, such as a forklift for heavy crates.

The freight carrier may not be able to back into certain driveways, private roads, narrow roads, or restricted-access locations.

Important: Optional white-glove or in-home placement is not included in standard delivery. If requested, Between Living may help coordinate a separate third-party service, quoted and paid separately where available.
This optional service may assist with moving the product from curbside to a preferred location only. It does not replace any required unloading plan, and it does not include assembly, construction, plumbing, or electrical work.
White-glove service is most commonly used for larger sauna units. Smaller items may not require additional handling.

If assembly, construction, plumbing, or electrical work is needed, the customer is responsible for arranging the appropriate local contractor or licensed professional.

We’ll share the delivery instructions before shipment and again when tracking is issued.

Lead times and build estimates vary by model; we confirm at time of order.

Returns & order changes

Returns and changes depend on order status and manufacturer policy.

Freight and delivery fees are typically non-refundable once booked or shipped.

Between Living will assist with the request, but final approval is per manufacturer guidelines.

Leisurecraft Product FAQ

Will my order be delivered to my door?

Most residential deliveries are curbside/end-of-driveway by appointment. The carrier typically won’t bring the crate into your home or backyard.

Do you install the sauna?

Installation isn’t included. Most customers assemble using the included instructions or hire a local contractor/handyperson.

Will optional white-glove delivery assemble or install my product?

No. Optional white-glove or in-home placement may help move the product from curbside to a preferred location, depending on availability and the provider. It does not include assembly, construction, plumbing, or electrical work. If those services are needed, the customer is responsible for arranging the appropriate contractor or licensed professional.

Will the trucking company unload the crate for me?

Usually no. The driver generally does not unload, and may not back into a driveway. Some smaller crates may ship with liftgate service, but larger crates often require customer-arranged unloading, such as forklift or equipment.

What if I don’t have a forklift?

Options can include renting equipment, hiring local help with a forklift, arranging trailer pickup at a terminal if offered, or coordinating an alternative offload method. Plan ahead for larger shipments.

How does delivery scheduling work?

The carrier contacts you to set an appointment once your shipment reaches the local terminal. Please respond promptly to avoid storage or re-delivery fees.

What if I miss the delivery appointment?

Missed appointments can result in storage and/or re-delivery charges from the carrier. If anything changes on your side, contact the carrier as soon as possible.

What should I do if the crate arrives damaged?
  • Inspect the crate before signing.
  • Take clear photos of any damage.
  • Note damage on the delivery receipt, also called the bill of lading, before accepting.
  • Contact us promptly so we can assist.
What if parts are missing or there’s hidden damage?

Keep packaging and take photos. Notify us as soon as possible so we can guide next steps with the manufacturer.

Can I cancel or change my order after purchasing?

Changes and cancellations depend on production stage and shipping status. Contact us as soon as possible. Earlier requests are always easier to accommodate.

Are returns accepted?

Returns are generally limited for drop-shipped freight items. If a return is approved, fees and shipping costs may apply. Please review the full policy link above.

What happens if I refuse delivery?

Refusing delivery can result in restocking and return freight charges. If there’s a concern at delivery, accept the shipment and document any damage first.

Do heaters, stones, or accessories come included?

Many items are purchased separately, such as heater, stones, and upgrades. Please review the product page selections and “Complete your setup” options.

How long will it take to build/ship?

Build times vary by model and season. We confirm timing at order and share updates once the manufacturer schedules production and shipping.
