Harvia KIP wall-mounted electric sauna heater
Harvia KIP wall-mounted electric sauna heaters

Traditional Heat,
Mounted with Purpose.

A trusted Harvia workhorse, KIP delivers straightforward electric sauna heat through a compact wall-mounted design. Choose built-in manual operation or an externally controlled configuration, then match the heater output and electrical system to the room it is meant to warm.

Compact placement. Traditional performance.

Built Specifically for Wall-Mounted Installation.

Unlike freestanding pillar and floor-mounted heaters, KIP is installed on the sauna wall. This keeps valuable floor space open while placing dependable heat close to the bathing area. Its compact format is well suited to traditional residential sauna rooms and selected commercial installations when the correct output, clearances, electrical supply, and control system are specified.

Calculate the Right Kilowatt Size.

Heater output is selected according to the sauna’s volume, insulation, glazing, masonry, concrete, and other heat-storing surfaces. Use the estimator as an initial planning tool, then verify the result against the exact Harvia model instructions and your qualified installer’s calculations.

How to Choose Your Harvia KIP.

Select the heater in this order: room size, control method, electrical supply, and installation requirements. Voltage and phase are not style choices. They must correspond to the electrical service available at the property.

01

Choose the Correct kW

Start with the sauna room volume and construction. A larger room, extensive glass, masonry, concrete, or other uninsulated surfaces may require greater heater output.

02

Select the Control Method

Built-in-control models place manual timer and temperature controls directly on the heater. Separate-control models require a compatible Harvia controller, sensor, power components, and installation plan.

03

Match Voltage and Phase

Residential properties commonly use compatible 240V single-phase service. Compatible 208V three-phase service is more often found in commercial, hospitality, multifamily, institutional, or shared-use buildings.

Before ordering: ask a qualified electrician to confirm the property’s voltage, phase, available service, required amperage, breaker size, conductor sizing, controller compatibility, installation clearances, and applicable local codes. A 240V single-phase heater and a 208V three-phase heater are not interchangeable versions of the same electrical installation.
Direct manual operation

KIP Heaters with Built-In Controls.

A straightforward choice for shoppers who want the timer and temperature controls located directly on the wall-mounted heater. Confirm the model’s voltage, phase, output, room range, and control orientation before purchase.

KIP 240V Single-Phase Heaters.

These wall-mounted models are commonly considered for compatible residential electrical systems and require a correctly matched external Harvia control arrangement. Select only after confirming the building service and the complete control package.

KIP 208V Three-Phase Heaters.

Intended only for properties with compatible 208V three-phase electrical service. These configurations are frequently relevant to commercial, hospitality, multifamily, fitness, institutional, and other shared-use sauna environments.

Size First. Verify the Electrical System. Then Select.

The correct KIP is not chosen by appearance alone. Confirm the sauna volume, construction, desired control method, voltage, phase, clearances, stones, controller requirements, and professional installation plan before placing the order.
