The Harvia Water Filter System M is a residential water filtration solution designed to protect home steam generators, combi heaters, and other water-fed steam systems from the damaging effects of hard water. By removing dissolved minerals before they enter the steam generator, the system helps reduce scale formation, extend equipment life, and maintain reliable steam performance for years to come.
Harvia strongly recommends water filtration for all compatible steam generators and combi heaters. Untreated hard water contains calcium, magnesium, and other dissolved minerals that gradually accumulate inside water tanks, heating elements, and internal components. This mineral buildup causes calcification, reducing heating efficiency while shortening the lifespan of valuable sauna and steam equipment.
The Harvia Water Filter System removes nearly all calcium, magnesium, and other hard water minerals from the incoming water supply. In addition to preventing limescale deposits and hard water damage, the filtration process also removes unpleasant odours associated with untreated water, producing softer, cleaner, and purified water for every steam session.
Designed specifically for residential installations, the M system provides the ideal filtration capacity for home steam rooms, steam showers, and private wellness spaces.
