Spirit’s smooth curves and beautifully visible rounded stones make the heater a focal point rather than a piece that needs to be concealed. Its restrained profile fits naturally into modern and traditional sauna interiors, bringing warmth, texture, and a quiet sense of Finnish design to the room.

The form is purposeful as well as beautiful. The open stone presentation supports generous contact between water and heated stone, helping create soft, enveloping steam while retaining a compact wall-mounted footprint.

Discreet ventilation channels guide air through the heating elements and distribute warmth more evenly throughout the sauna. They also help protect nearby sauna structures by managing heat around the wall-mounted heater.

With a stone capacity of approximately 60 kilograms, or about 132 pounds, Spirit produces gentle, long-lasting löyly that feels soft on the skin while carrying deep, steady warmth through the session. The airflow design supports faster heating and more efficient use of energy without sacrificing the quality of the steam.

Multiple Safety Features and Advanced Technology.

Spirit integrates safety monitoring directly into the heater. Its top-surface safety function prevents activation when an object is detected above the stones, supporting safer remote starting when the system is installed and operated according to the applicable instructions.

Separate sensors monitor both the heater and the sauna temperature, helping maintain stable operation and protect against overheating. Spirit models are designed to work with compatible Harvia control systems, including selected Xenio and Fenix configurations, depending on the exact heater package and market.

North American Spirit electric heaters are designed for the electrical and safety requirements of the United States and Canada. Harvia identifies applicable compliance with UL 875 for electric dry-bath sauna heaters and relevant Canadian electrical-appliance and sauna-heating requirements, including CSA E60335 standards.

Each Spirit product page identifies the model’s intended room range, electrical format, control compatibility, and installation requirements. Once you have chosen the right heater and control package, your licensed electrician follows the included Harvia instructions for the final connection.
